Well you need to know the CPI’s. The rate at which the CPI increases, that is the rate of inflation. So for the current one, you take the current CPI and then subtract the CPI from a year ago. Then you divide that by the CPI of a year ago. Then multiply by 100 to get a percent rate of inflation. So the key fact here is CPI. Find the CPI and that can give you the rate of inflation

If you measure inflation using the Consumer Price Index, then its on the website for the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
4.1% for last year.
